Subject: Horizontal top line noise.
SYMPTOM
H-Line noise occurs in top of the screen for several minutes.
Bottom line signal of previous frame wrongly reflected on top line of current frame.
- if top and bottom signal patterns are same, the noise cannot be seen.
- if top and bottom signal patterns are similar, the noise is hard to find.
CAUSE
Memory read/write access timing corruption.
Read/Write timing margin is not enough, so in case of jitter occurs, T-CON internal memory access corruption happens. In this case, end of previous frame data is wrongly reflected as line noise of top line.
SOLUTION
Replace T-CON Board with Part Number like indicated below.
