Subject: Two Microprocessor versions used in Model 27A41
Symptom: Dead Set after replacement of the Microprocessor (IC101)
Corrective Action: Two non-interchangeable microprocessor versions were used in
this model. (May 2001 a running change was made on this microprocessor
implementing the B version, this change is NOT backward or forward compatible)
Replace the microprocessor (IC101) using the correct version. Identify the correct
microprocessor by visually inspecting the vendor numbers on the device. Use the
information provided below:
