Software Upgrading Procedure [REVISION 2]
SYMPTOM
This Technical Bulletin describes the software upgrading procedure for the FIX Chassis, using a Memory Stick.
SOLUTION
Memory Stick Preparation
• Only use a Memory Stick with low access, such as the one indicated in the table below. Make sure not to use
fast access types like Memory Stick Pro.

• Format the Memory Stick using a formatter (Vaio), without checking the “Quick Format” option, or use a digital
still camera.
• Caution: two different software packages are available for KDL-46X2000, because the picture setting data for
the WCG1 panel differ from those for the WCG3 panel. Always make sure only to install software from the
correct package (refer to “APPLICABLE SERIAL NUMBERS” at the end of this Bulletin).
Updating Procedure
1. “All Micro” Upgrade
2. Data Change (only for KDL-46X2000 with serial number 7000001 or above)
3. Version check and Reset
