Subject: Software Packages Follow-Up for WAX-2FLC Chassis [REVISION 4]
SYMPTOM
The latest software packages and Digital version are valid for all WAX-2FLC models. Amongst others, an update is
needed in case of a panel / board exchange and to solve the issues below.
Issue IRIS code
Italy VHF channel issue (MediaSet)
* In digital tuning, Italy VHF channels are supported, but not the other European channel
frequencies. 4 VHF channels are missing.
C26X
DVB-T issue (Denmark): TV2 always stored in channel space nr. 4.
* TV2 channel region at room no. 4 is not the same as before the change.
* TV2 located in multiple channel locations, but cannot be displayed.

SOLUTION
Install the latest software package using the files attached to this document and following the abridged procedure
on the next page. For the full upgrade procedure, refer to TB 06TV168.
IMPORTANT (Files indicated on page 2 of this TB)
Identify the panel type using the table in TB 08TV042.
Before updating, check the Digital Emma version, and choose the corresponding SW package
Digital Emma version 2.5.511 Digital Emma version 2.15.512 or 2.15.600
The digital software version can be checked via the Service Menu, by pressing the following remote control button
sequence in standby mode: [Information] => [5] => [Volume+] => [Power].
In case of an OLD panel type, the Digital Software must be updated separately after the normal update, using
the applicable “memorystick*.zip file.
When exchanging from a NEW to an OLD panel, alternative software must be used.
