Touch Sensor Replacement [REVISION 1] 1740
SYMPTOM
In case of exchanging the bezel or a Touch Sensor Module defect, the touch sensor needs replacement.
SOLUTION
In order to replace the touch sensor, proceed as outlined below.
1. Prepare the bezel by disassembling it from the LCD TV.
2. Remove the cover of the Touch Sensor.
3. Carefully remove the Touch Sensor Module by applying a lever and lifting up the module with a screw driver or
tweezers. After removing, verify whether the foil surface on the bezel or touch sheet is not damaged.
NOTE: Both parts are attached to the bezel with double-sided tape. In case of tape remains, do not use solvent to
remove them from the bezel.
4. Depending on the type of defect, choose between remedy 1 and 2.
• 1. Defective Touch Sensor Module => Apply a new “Sheet, Touch” and replace the Touch Sensor Module.
