Subject: 8 times blinking / TV restart / ‘HOST_WDT’ error count in service menu.
SYMPTOM
1. LED 8 times blinking.
2. Experienced LED 8 times blinking or TV restart. TV set is working with ‘ HOST_WDT ‘ error count in ‘ Self
Diagnosis Display ‘.
CAUSE
Bug in the function to save service list may cause sometimes dirty data in BIVL cache.
SOLUTION
1. LED 8 times blinking.
If the above symptom occurs, please perform a factory reset of the unit, update the firmware and clear the error
history by following below steps:
NOTE: “Factory Reset” resets all user data and settings including TV channels, network set-up, login information
etc..
a) Perform Factory Reset
- Plug in the AC of the TV.
- While the TV is on, keep pushing the Arrow UP button on Remote Controller (towards TV IR sensor) and
push the ON/OFF button on TV.
- ‘ RESET ‘ message will be displayed on bottom-left corner meaning Factory data reset is successful.
- Release ON/OFF button on TV and TV will shut down and restart.
b) Update the firmware version to version 2.704 or above.

c) Clear Error history by pushing [ 8 ], [ 0 ] in the ‘ Self Diagnosis Display ‘ ( [ i ], [ 5 ], [ Vol - ], [ TV POWER ] )

Diagnosis Display ‘.
If the above symptom occurs, update the firmware and clear the error history by following below steps:
a) Update the firmware version to version 2.704 or above.

b) Clear Error history by pushing [ 8 ], [ 0 ] in the ‘ Self Diagnosis Display ‘ ( [ i ], [ 5 ], [ Vol - ], [ TV POWER ] )
