Subject: Continuous Reboot after Software Update to v3.843 / v3.845 [REVISION 1]
SYMPTOM
Marshmallow Continuous Reboot after Software Update to v3.843 or v3.845. Start-up screen like below.
SOLUTION
Recover the TV set by applying the Factory Data Reset like explained in Technical Bulletin 17TV005.
Operational procedures
The necessary processes must be put in place to assure that repairs linked to the above symptom are performed
free of charge to the end-user.
Warranty Reporting and Reimbursement process
Reimbursement will be made for both I/W and O/W repairs with a RECEIVE_DATE from 22nd February 2017. The
end date of the guideline will be March 31th 2017.
 For O/W repair done by non-3C account
Below instruction for warranty reporting has to be properly followed:
o Model = Actual (faulty) model with defective panel
o Complete part number 17TV009 on a parts line
o Use a dedicated local warranty code that identifies in a unique way ‘SET REPAIR under a MAINTENANCE
CAMPAIGN”. This local code should be mapped to central warranty code ‘Y’.
