T-CON Board Layout and
Voltage Measurements
Troubleshooting:
ConfirmP VCC12V VDDIN) T-Confirm P_VCC 12V (is arriving on the T CON board at the 12V fuse (Top Left). If a voltage is found to be low or 0V,
check the Main board side. If 12V is OK, LVDS cable is open. If still 0V, turn off the power, disconnect the LVDS cable and
recheck the voltage. If the voltage returns on the Main board, the T-CON is defective. If the voltage remains missing on the
Main board, Main is defective. Before replacing Main, Diode check the T-CON’s P_VCC 12V fuse (VDDIN) to ground for a
short, (OL normal) which could have opened Main board. If OK, and you have backlights, run the Panel Test, (see last page).
With 12V applied to the T-CON, confirm the 4 voltages listed (on the next page) generated on the T-CON (VHAVDD, VAVDD,
SHL, VCOM_OUT). If a voltage is found to be low or 0V, turn off the power,
disconnect the panel and recheck the voltage.
If the voltage returns, the panel is defective.
If not, the T-CON is defective.
