SUBJECT : Countermeasure for user mode save error of S/T96P model
Background : S/T96P model have user mode save error with some video card which supports
hot plug function
In this case, please apply below countermeasure.
The symptom is as below
- If user turn off monitor power and turn on while PC ower is on then,
the user mode wich adjusted before deleted.(Return to factory mode)
Hot plug : Although monitor power off, Video card generates +5V to monitor
Micom IC so that PC can recognize the data of monitor
Samsung applied the countermeasure from May.30,2001
Cause : Micom program error
Solution : Delete D281 or attach specific adapter to D-sub of signal cable.
