Phenomenon During receiving E-12 channel, a beat noise may occur on the picture when adjusting the
brightness.
Cause Higher-harmonics which is generated in the collector of power transistor when brightness
adjusted appear in the carrier of E-12 channel as a beat noise.
Servicing In this case, please add 5 capacitors(VCKYPA1HB391K+) between the 2 pin and 6 pin of
each power transistors, T6700, T6701, T6702, T6703 and T6704.
Refer to the picture and circuit diagram on the next pages.
Factory action The units produced from July, 2004 have been improved against this phenomenon.
