SYMPTOM Picture small and doubled or no function.
CAUSE Corrupted firmware in IC8455.
ACTION Follow the instructions in the service manual and download the latest firmware onto a
USB stick and try to reload.
While updating a set with the above symptom, no image will be displayed on the
screen, instead the LED will flash. When the LED stops flashing, wait thirty seconds
and then unplug from the mains, wait a further ten seconds and then reconnect the
mains supply.
If this procedure fails to work replace IC8455 and then reload the firmware again.
