SYMPTOM Stuck in stand by following software update or PWB replacement the Red LED
flashing, if there has been more than 5 attempts to bring the TV on with the incorrect
settings then the TV will be none responsive and show only the Red power LED.
CAUSE Incorrect MODEL NAME / INCH SIZE identification within the service menu setup
software resulting in “Lamp error” protection mode “STANDBY CAUSE” (1B).
ACTION Follow the instructions given below to gain access to the engineer “service menu” and
check/reset “INCH SIZE” and “MODEL NAME” where applicable.
