NEW GA5 SERIES SOFTWARE VERSION
This software version (SharpR0_96_ExpF7) solves:
1. Picture bending in 4:3 mode.
2. Distortion visible on the bottom of the screen in cinema mode.
3. It does not switch from HD to SD in automatic detection, and indicates “no signal”.
When any of the above TV set is called for service due to some of the previously described phenomenon,
proceed to update the IC1002 software version to SharpR0_96_ExpF7 or upper.
NOTE:
In case the Pixelworks Software version was previous to PxW_v63 (entering
the Service Mode it can be seen, as in the fi gure) it is also requested:
1. Update the Pixelwors Software version to PxW_v63.
2. Rewrite the NVM by “erase” option.
3. Adjust ADC and WBALANC.
All these actions are detailed in the own Service Manual.
