GA5 SERIES DC VOLTAGE ON SPEAKERS
In case of leakage at C1319 / C1320 it may appear TV sets with “pop noise” when it is switched
ON or OFF by Mains. As a result of this there are DC voltage in speaker/s, so they may result
damaged (no sound.)
When any of the listed TV set is called for service due to the above described, proceed to improve
the circuit as follows:
1. Remove the IC1301 Heat Sink.
2. Replace C1319 and C1320 as in the above table. See details behind.
3. Add C1376 and C1377 as in the above table. See details behind.
4. Assemble the heat sink to its original position (ensure the silicone has not been removed.)
