TO SOLVE NO PICTURE, BACKLIGHT ON, AUDIO ON.
Is possible that in some TV sets the IC1705 is damaged due to an excess of current when TV is
switched ON, and for this reason doesn’t appear picture in the screen.
Inspection:
With TV set in ON condition, check if voltage in “LCD+5V” (SIDE A, see Figure 2) is +5V (+/-0.5).
In case of reading lower voltage than the specifi ed means that IC1705 is damaged and LCD
controller pwb is not powered properly. For this reason doesn’t appear picture in the screen. In
this case proceed as follows:
Countermeasure
1.-Abolish C2311 from Side A (See fi gure 2) and C2313 from Side B (See Figure 1) of MAIN PWB
(XD603N*), for improving rush current over the IC1705.
