SUBJECT: Intermittent Shutdown. No Problem Found during service visit.
SYMPTOM: The TV intermittently shuts down. The Stand-By and Lamp LED’s are blinking
then after several seconds only the Stand-By LED is active. The turn off melody sound is
heard during the shutdown process.
DETAIL: Improper close position of door switch and thermal expansion of the Door Cover
causes shutdown to occur. Remove and reattach the Door Cover to cure the problem. See
Service Procedure on next page.
