SUBJECT: IR interference
SYMPTOM: When the TV is powered on, there is a loss of IR remote to the set-top-box.
Turning the TV back off restores the remote control function to the set-top-box. This
symptom may last a few minutes or longer.
REPAIR:
1. Replace the inverter board(s) (see chart 1 for parts listing)
a. Disconnect all cable connectors from the inverter board(s)
b. Remove all the screws holding the inverter board(s)
c. Carefully slide the inverter board(s) to the right (inwards) to remove from the panel
