SUBJECT: Buzzing noise from the rear of the set.
In order to correctly perform the following service bulletin three criteria must be met.
1.
The buzzing noise has to be confirmed. In order to do this, simply mute the TV. If the buzzing noise stops, we know the issue is either an audio distortion issue or a speaker vibration issue. If the noise doesn’t stop proceed to criteria two.
2.
Since we are working with plasma technology, we automatically know there will be normal operating noise from the set. The buzzing noise in question has to be above normal audio (relative to customers hearing, we suggest volume level 15 at 10 feet away from the TV).
3.
The serial number of the set must fall within the serial number ranges from below
