Subject: No or bad access to Service Menu.
SYMPTOM
Difficult to enter Service Mode.
Slightly visible, translucent ‘Entering Service Mode’ logo and then the TV freezes. Only after several tries (up to 10 times) the TV goes into service mode.
CAUSE
Software error.
SOLUTION
1. Turn on TV to Home screen
2. Press <TV> button on remote control
3. Press power button to put TV in standby mode
4. Within 1 second, execute usual remote control’s key sequence to start Service Mode
