Subject: Rear cover looks stained / dirty / uneven.
SYMPTOM
‘Gate mark’, ‘Flow mark’ and ‘Tooling line’ around AC cord – as shown in below pictures – are visible on the rear cover.
CAUSE
Phenomenon of the used material.
In order to produce the ‘Hair Line’ design, a process is used which leads to a special uneven view.
SOLUTION
This look is a normal phenomenon due to the manufacturing processes used in the construction of the rear cover.
There is no degradation in the quality of the material created by this manufacturing process.
It is normal that the uneven view varies between these rear covers.
This is not a fault or a defect. It is normal and a result of the ‘Hair Line’ design. Parts replacement or AEP event is not allowed.
