GN5TR, GN4TR, GN3TR, GN2TR chassis.
Subject: Bravia Sync issues.
SYMPTOM
The communication via HDMI CEC (Bravia Sync) between the TV and external HDMI devices is not working properly since updating to Software version 6.7140 or higher.
issues like:
- Automatic switch-off of the TV when switching off the HDMI device no longer works.
- Bravia Sync won't shut off the units that have been enabled by the Bravia feature.
- Turning off the Apple TV Device does not turn off the TV anymore
CAUSE
Software error.
SOLUTION
Sony is investigating the issue and plan to resolve it a.s.a.p. via a Software Update.
Do not replace any spare parts (mainboard, etc.) or create any AEP for this issue
Intermediate workaround:
Use the dedicated remote of the connected devices until a solution is provided.
