Subject: No picture, switch off, no power, no operation, freeze, reboot [REVISION 1].
SYMPTOM
No picture, TV switches OFF, No power, TV freeze, Reboot, not operating.
CAUSE
Defective IC606 DC-DC Converter IC
SOLUTION
Check output voltage on IC606. Like illustrated below. If voltage is lower than 1.0V, replace IC606 or MainBoard.
- Locate IC606 on mainboard
- Make sure the TV is turned ON. (In Stand-By there is no voltage at IC606)
- Check the voltage on output pin 5. Need to be between 1.09V and 1.1V.
- If output at pin 5 is lower than 1.0V, replace IC606 or mainboard with P.N. like mentioned below or in the Service Manual.
