GN5UR chassis.
Subject: RMF-TX600E & -TX500E only StandBy / Power button working.
SYMPTOM
TV only react on command from the StandBy / Power button of Remote Commander.
CAUSE
Remote Commander not correctly paired.
SOLUTION
If Infrared Remote available
1. Unpair the voice remote control by pressing the HOME button and selecting [Settings] — [Bluetooth settings] select connected remote in list under ‘add device’ — [Unpair] — [OK].
2. Register the voice remote control again by pressing the HOME button and selecting [Settings] — [Remote control] — [Connect via Bluetooth].
If no Infrared Remote available, do a Forced Factory Data Reset by Unit Key like explained below.
Important: The factory reset will delete all personal settings, data and downloaded apps on the TV.
1. Unplug the power cable from the outlet.
2. Press and hold down both the “POWER” and “VOL-” keys located on the TV.
3. Plug the power cable back in the outlet (while holding down both the “POWER” and “VOL-”).
[Estimated time: 30 sec]
4. LED of the smart core will light in green for several seconds.
[Estimated time: 10 sec]
5. TV reboots itself.
[Estimated time: 15 sec]
6. TV reboot itself and show initial setup screen. (= recover of TV)
If Remote Commander paired and paired TV is switched ON, all buttons are transmitted via BlueTooth, except the Power button.
- Power button is InfraRed only
- MIC button is Bluetooth only
- All other buttons are
o Bluetooth ( if BlueTooth connected )
o InfraRed ( if BlueTooth is NOT connected)
