Subject: Continuous Reboot, No power and/or No Picture [REVISION 1]
SYMPTOM
Continuous Reboot, No power and/or No Picture
CAUSE
Software data issue of IC2001 on Main Board.
SOLUTION
Before replacing the Main board, check if IC2001 on Main Board is Toshiba or Samsung.
If IC2001 on Main Board is Toshiba or Samsung, recover the TV by following the below procedures.
1) Execute ‘Factory Data Reset ’ by unit key ( for detailed procedure check 17TV005)
1. Unplug the power cable from the outlet.
2. Press and hold down both the “POWER” and “VOL-” keys located on the TV.
3. Plug the power cable back in the outlet (while holding down both the “POWER” and “VOL-”). [Estimated time: 30 sec]
4. LED of the smart core will light in green for several seconds.
[Estimated time: 10 sec]
5. TV reboots itself. [Estimated time: 15 sec]

2) Update firmware by following the procedure below.
