Subject: Ethernet connection issue
SYMPTOM
Ethernet speed slow
Ethernet packet loss
Ethernet connection fail (8 out of 10)
CAUSE
In case of unstable GND between the network router and the TV set, the above-mentioned issues can happen.
In this condition, the Zener diode at Ethernet affects the Ethernet signal wave.
SOLUTION
- Check Ethernet condition and equipment.
Confirm internet connection.
Advise to use CAT7 Ethernet cable (= shield type).
AND / OR
- Remove Zener diode at Main board like illustrated in the following pages. Be sure to not make any bridging on pattern circuit.
Note: Service MainBoard with Part Number like indicated in the Service Manual are already modified.
