Application: The information contained in this bulletin applies only if you encounter the
symptom(s) listed below.
Subject: Release “Factory Mode” lock
Symptom: After the main PCB has been replaced, a blue box is displayed in the
upper portion of the screen. The symptom may also occur in units that
have not had the main PCB replaced, if subjected to a power outage or
surge.
Corrective Action:
Follow the EEPROM initialization procedure in the unit Service Manual.
