Bravia CAM connectivity issues [Revision 2]
SYMPTOM
After updating TV to software version 6.5929 on A95K / Z9K series following issues could occur:
• The BRAVIA CAM is not recognized by the TV.
• The camera does not appear in the settings menu (in the category remote control and accessories)
• If the customer opens the mechanical camera shutter, they get the message that the camera cover is closed.
Note: Other models were not affected by the above issues.
CAUSE
Communication issue with the bundled camera.
SOLUTION
Update the TV set to SW PKG6.5954 (or higher). This applies for all GR2VH models, also the TV model without bundled Bravia CAM will receive improvements.
Improvements:
• "No paring camera" issue
• "Camera FW cannot update" issue
• "Auto adjust Picture & Sound function" and "Proximity Alert" features do not work with the Camera
• "Video chat " function does not work
• When AC OFF/ON is performed the TV cannot recognize Magnet Camera
