LCD / OLED panel check before
AEP request
Purpose of this document is to define the procedure to correctly identify the panel problems in LCD and OLED TVs.
1.
Connect the 51 pin connector of the T CON circuit of the OLED display to the connection point of the T CON Jig.
2.
Connect the 14 pin power connector of the T CON circuit to the connection point of the T CON Jig above OLED + 12V
3.
Connect the 15 pin power connector of the T CON circuit to one of the OLED +24V connector on the T CON Jig.
4.
In case the T CON circuit of the device has two 15 pin power connectors, use the two connectors above the OLED + 24V label on th e T CON Jig.
5.
Then, turn the Enable switch to ON
6.
This activates the + 24VCC, + 12VCC and + 3V3 power output and Test Pattern will appear on the panel.
During the test, you can change the switch between AGP0 and AGP1 to select two different pattern signals.
After testing, sets the "Enable" switch to "OFF".

If picture does not appear, the TCON error led blinks, the power output leds are off during the test, or any other defect is vis ible on the screen, the OLED panel or TCON are
defective:

If no error occurs, and pattern test can be seen correctly, the problem is NOT related with the OLED panel:
