Subject: GN6UR NB55/NBH55 Preventive PSU Replacement [Revision 1]
SYMPTOM
The GL01 PSU cannot trigger a backlight error (6x Red LED blinking).
CAUSE
Detection mechanism not available in original LED driver on the GL01 PSU.
SOLUTION Power Supply Board replacement is needed as preventive action, GL01 needs to be replaced by GL01B. The GL01B has an updated LED driver which can detect backlight issues.
In case a set on the models listed in the header is being repaired, please make sure it is returned to the customer with a GL01B board. No action needed when the TV is already equipped with a GL01B board.
