Dust Mura Countermeasure for TE 55 and TC 65 models [Revision 1]
SYMPTOM
Dust Mura occurring, dust build-up inside the panel.
CAUSE
Incoming dust build-up through rear cover holes and rear cover stand holes.
SOLUTION
1. Please apply this C/M in case of a claim on DUST MURA for the models affected.
2. Follow the TB 19TV024 (Panel Backlight Cleaning)
3. Apply the dust tape C/M after panel cleaning - (x8) - if customer complained on dust issue and TV is installed in wall mount condition. (Cover 4 stand holes)
4. Apply the dust tape C/M after panel cleaning - (x4) - if customer complained on dust issue and TV is installed with stands. (Cover 2 stand holes, which are not used with stand)
5. Apply the dust tape C/M (x8 if TV set is wall mounted) (x4 on 2 holes which are not used with stands), on TV sets which are received in service center for any other repair, only if a suspicion of dust build up is visible.
