High-frequency Noise when Inserting CAM [REVISION 1] S548
SYMPTOM
When the CAM (Conditional Access Module) is inserted, a permanent high-frequency whistling noise may be heard
on all digital channels.
SOLUTION
• Add the following parts on the A2E Board.

CN8550 Pin Connector (PC Board) 4P 1-764-079-21
• Connect CN8550 on the A2E Board to CN3402 on the N Board using the cable harness 1-910-016-19.
• Enter the Service Mode and perform TT93. The character "I" will appear on the OSD display, indicating that
"Digital Sound" (I2S) is selected.
• Switch the unit OFF/ON and check whether the problem has been solved.
APPLICABLE MODELS
All the models equipped with an N Board for which the part number is A-1122-473-A, A-1122-473-B, or
A-1122-473-C. The part number is printed on a label fixed to the N Board.
