Data Handling Using TL3 Jig [REVISION 3]
SYMPTOM
A TL3 Board has been made available to facilitate the data handling.
SOLUTION
Follow the procedure described below. The TL3 Board has the following functionalities:
• NVM reading and writing.
• Flash upgrade of the main microcontroller.
PROCEDURE
1. Requirements
• Pentium III, 130 MHz.
• Available USB port.
• TL3 Jig Interface (9-948-020-98).
• Software package.
2. Set-up
In the rear cover there is a small removable door that gives access to the service connector. Strengthen the
supplied flat cable by attaching a piece of hard plastic (e.g. from a printed circuit board) to the bottom side. In this
way the rear cover does not need to be removed.
