Intermittent Picture Blanking with Specific External Equipment

SYMPTOM
Intermittent picture blanking when connecting a Sky HD Box to the HDMI input. The problem only happens when the resolution is set to “1080i” or “Auto”. The problem does not occur with connections via the Component input.
CAUSE
Compatibility problem with the Sky HD Box.
SOLUTION
Replace microcontroller IC1002 on the BE Board as indicated in the table below.
