SYMPTOM
After operating the lift function several times, especially in [DEMO MODE], the following problems may occur:
• No or partial opening of the DVD block section;
• No or intermittent picture;
• No power.
CAUSE
• Broken wires in the “HARNESS ASSY”.
SOLUTION
• 1. Replace the “HARNESS ASSY”.
• 2. Change the “HARNESS ASSY” binding positions. It is recommended to change the binding positions to all incoming units, irrespective of the above problems.
1. HARNESS ASSY REPLACEMENT
1.1. Remove the DVD block from the unit. Carefully follow the instructions from the Service Manual p. 19 or the training video (Technical Bulletin 06HA020) to avoid screen damage.
1.2. Prepare a screwdriver bit. Remove the “HARNESS ASSY” and bracket from the DVD block as shown in Fig 1.
