Intermittent Power/Control Problems
SYMPTOM
• Picture OK, but neither the remote commander nor any key button may function, except after powering on again.
• Picture NG and a green led flashing, but neither the remote commander nor any key button may function, except after powering on again.
• The set cannot be powered on after powered off or in standby condition.
CAUSE
Conductive tape on the A2 Board touching the “PWB Via Holes”.
SOLUTION
Verify whether at least 2 mm of space is present between the shield tape and the Printed Wire Board. If not, smoothly remove the tape and reposition it further away from the PWB. If the tape has lost its adhesive power, then only replace it by tape with the part number indicated below.
