SYMPTOM
No recognition of the panel specification via HDMI connection or D-Sub 15 connection. As a result, no picture may
appear, or the screen may be in lowest resolution.
CAUSE
Empty EDID NVM.
SOLUTION
Follow the instructions on the next pages to read and write the EDID NVM data.
NOTE: The 20 MHz Trace Box may not communicate reliably with some chassis due to the high value of the
SDA/SCL pull-up resistors within the set.
In case communication is not reliable, add two 10 K pull-up resistors between pin 14 (5V) of IC 74LS03 and the
SDA/SCL lines on the output connector within the 20 MHz Trace Box. Place some insulating tape underneath the
resistors before reassembling the unit.
