Caution with Panel and B Board Replacement [REVISION 1]
SYMPTOM
The WCG1 and WCG3 have different B boards. Since the WCG1 panel is no longer available (refer to Technical
Bulletin 07TV062), this may cause incompatibility problems when replacing.

SOLUTION
1. Panel Replacement
• The table below indicates which panel replacements are allowed.

• The WCG1 and WCG3 panel can be distinguished by their different picture setting.

WCG1 INY (Inazawa, Japan) introduction model
WCG3 BCN (Barcelona, Spain) introduction model
• Refer to Technical Bulletin 07TV031R* for the chassis upgrading procedure and 07TV032R* for the model
depending software packages follow-up.
• A software upgrade by memory stick is not sufficient. DEM-NVM data need to be written in advance by a TL3
jig connected to a TV with a crossed flat cable and related code software. For precise DEM-NVM data
handling, refer to Technical Bulletin 07TV064R*.
• The complete upgrading procedure should look as follows:
1. Replace the LCD panel.
2. Write the appropriate DEM-NVM data.
3. Perform a MS-upgrade with the appropriate software package.
4. Perform a fine-adjustment in case of a customer request.
