Software Upgrading Procedure [REVISION 2]
SYMPTOM
This Technical Bulletin describes the software upgrading procedure using a memory stick.
SOLUTION
• The DL image can be found by opening the correct attachment to Technical Bulletin 07TV085R*. The
composition of the attachment names is clarified below.
C-xxxxLE_y_zz_T_BCN.ZIP
xxxx Package version (e.g. 5010)
y Model type X (e.g. KDL-40X3500)
or W (e.g. KDL-40W3000)
zz Panel size (e.g. 40)
T Panel Type (T1 or T2)
• Each DL image consists of the software data below. If the upgrading software is up to date, then the upgrading
for the specific program or data will be skipped.
* EMMA (Digital software)
* ASUCA
* KAISER (Main TV micro)
* BEM
* NVMs
NOTES
• The NVM will be updated with the area for adjustment masked (W/B, AD, SN will not be overwritten).
• In case of a troubled upgrading, disconnect and reconnect the AC cable with the memory stick still inserted,
and try to upgrade again.
