DVB-C Problems [REVISION 2]
SYMPTOM
One of the following DVB-C problems may occur.
Issue IRIS code
1. When using a Technisat CAM, certain encrypted services
may not be descrambled correctly by the TV set. 6723
2. When the DVB-C cable operator does not correctly signal the NIT,
the MUX (service) will be missed during scanning. D22A
3. Incorrect display of the umlauted characters ä, ö, ü. 1731
SOLUTION
Symptom 1 and 2
Install the latest software package as explained in Technical Bulletin 07TV094R* using the software attached to
Technical Bulletin 07TV093R*.
Symptom 3
Customers in Austria and Switzerland can switch the country setting to “Germany” to solve the problem. As a
second option, which is only to be used in case of a persistent customer demand, a software update should be
performed. In that case, only an upgrade of the “TVM & Digital” data is necessary.
IMPORTANT
Only report this problem in warranty claim if it is the reason for customer/dealer return. If the software is
updated by routine job, it should not be reported in claim.
