Intermittent Picture Blanking 2311
SYMPTOM
One of the following problems may occur.
• Intermittent picture blanking when connecting to HDMI input. The problem only occurs when the resolution is
set to 1080i or “Auto”. It remains absent via Component input or HDMI set to resolution 720p.
• Dark picture.
• Undesired OSD appearance.
• Muted sound.
CAUSE
Compatibility problem with specific external equipment.
SOLUTION
1. Disconnect the set from the mains.
2. Replace “IC1002” (IC1008) on the BE board with the part indicated below.
