Software / Board Upgrade Procedure for SE-2(H) Chassis [REVISION 7]
This Technical Bulletin describes the software upgrading procedure for the SE-2(H) chassis. An update may be
needed after replacing the panel or B1 / B2 Board, or in case of software fixes.

• It is vital to transfer to original NVM data from the old to the new board.
• In all cases, check the HDMI and PC input.
• Notice that two alternative procedures exist.
CAUTION
For KDL-37P3000-10-20-30, -37U3000, -37P300H and -37P302H, refer to TB 08TV024 to check the panel type.
UPDATE PROCEDURE
1. Memory Stick formatting
• Format your Memory Stick using a Memory Stick formatter. A special program can be downloaded from:
http://support.sony-europe.com/memstick/downloads/downloads_ms.asp?l=en&f=MSFRM#disc.
• Windows formatters are not supported.
2. TVM & Digital Micro update
2-1. Choose the appropriate “se2_pkg_xxx_ms.zip” file attached to Technical Bulletin 08TV006 (Domestic) or
08TV028 (Hotel). Copy it to the empty Memory Stick and unzip it.
2-2. Switch off the TV using the [Power] key, and insert the Memory Stick. Do NOT use the [Standby]
