Software Upgrading Procedure / Panel or BE2 Board Exchange [REVISION 2]
SYMPTOM
• This Technical Bulletin describes the software upgrading procedure for the EG-1LL chassis, using a Memory
Stick.
• Amongst others, the latest software version is needed when exchanging the BE2 board, which requires an
update of the MS DL Digital, VCTP, NVM VCTP & Verd data.
SOLUTION
• Follow the outlined procedure below for upgrading to the latest software version, using the attachment to
Technical Bulletin 08TV043R*.
• An alternative update (cf. “4. Alternative update (when no LED activity)”) may be needed. In that case, use the
“MS_Reset_PKG_EG1LL.zip” file attached to this Technical Bulletin.
! CAUTION !
• Only use the attachment file “MS_Reset_PKG_EG1LL.zip” in case a regular update fails.
• Whenever exchanging the B2 board, make sure to transfer the shield from the old to the new board. In case of
loss, new parts can be ordered with the info in the table.
