SYMPTOM
• 1. When using a Technisat CAM, certain encrypted services may not be descrambled correctly by the TV set.
• 2. When the DVB-C cable operator does not correctly signal the NIT, the MUX (service) will be missed during
scanning.
• 3. Incorrect display of the umlauted characters ä, ö, ü.
SOLUTION
Symptom 1 and 2
• Install the latest software package as explained in Technical Bulletin 07TV050R*, using the software attached
to Technical Bulletin 08TV017R*.
• In case of a 40 inch panel, first refer to TB 07TV099R* to identify whether the set has an AUO or S-LCD panel.
Symptom 3
Customers in Austria and Switzerland can switch the country setting to “Germany” to solve the problem. As a
second option, only in case of persistent customer protest, a software update is allowed.
