Caution when Replacing EG-1L Panel – E Series [REVISION 5]
SYMPTOM
A new panel type (VE) has been introduced, being incompatible to the original one.
SOLUTION
• Always order the same panel as the one used in the set.
• However, if the original panel is out of stock, you can order a VE panel instead. Since only compatible parts
must be used, also the Inverter Harness, and/or LVDS Harness or IP5 board must be replaced, and an EMI
countermeasure may have to be applied.
1. Identify the panel type by the TV serial number (table below) and/or panel label (page 2 of this TB).
