Serial Number / Model Name Writing Support [REVISION 3] 1721
SYMPTOM
No serial number and model name after board exchange.
CAUSE
Generic serial number for service.
SOLUTION
Write the applicable serial number to the NVM. The serial number address in the NVM consists of 7 bytes in
hexadecimal format.
1. Extract the zip file attached to this Technical Bulletin, and run the "Code2.exe" file.

2. Make sure that the COM port baud rate is set to 115200.
3. Open the "Analyzer" window ([MENU] => [TOOLS] => [ANALYZER]).
4. Check the [Add Check Sum] box.
5. Refer to the tables on the next pages to determine the (ASCII) hexadecimal code.
6. Enter the converted code “F3 00 14 02 00 00 00 00 00 00 C0 DA 34 30 30 30 30 30 31” in the [Send Command]
box to write the serial number, and press [SEND].
! IMPORTANT !
7. Perform a power reset by disconnecting the power plug, otherwise changes will not be saved permanently.
8. In the User menu, verify whether all information has been updated correctly.
