SYMPTOM
No recognition of the panel specification via HDMI connection or D-Sub 15 connection. As a result, no picture may
appear, or the screen may be in lowest screen resolution.
CAUSE
Empty EDID NVM.
SOLUTION
Follow the instructions below to write the EDID NVM data, using the files attached to this Technical Bulletin. The
method depends on the input device.

1. Data handling between TV, I2C device and NVM via TRACE for PC INPUT
NOTE: Send the appropriate ECS command, and select [Add Check Sum] in order to disable the write protection.

1-1. Open the Assist menu. Under [Local] select [Trace – Direct memory].
1-2. By double-clicking the tab, a new window will pop up, listing all possible NVM types handled by TRACE.
