Audio Mute when Changing from Mono to Stereo 2580
SYMPTOM
One of the following symptoms may appear.
• 1. Continuous audio muting with CH-41 in Greece.
• 2. Audio mute after channel change (e.g. in Turkey).
CAUSE
• 1. Incorrect second sound carrier threshold for 2CS channel.
• 2. Time decoder needs to detect and change from mono to stereo.
SOLUTION
In case the symptom appears, upgrade to the latest software package, using the attachments to Technical Bulletin
08TV062. Refer to TB 08TV060 for the upgrade procedure.
NOTE: The CH-41 issue will only be solved in case the country setting is “Greece”.
