SYMPTOM
This Technical Bulletin describes the upgrading procedure for the EX-2N_Peppermint Chassis, using a USB stick.
Amongst others, an update is needed for software fixes or when exchanging the B board.

IMPORTANT
If updating from a software version lower than v4.135 (SW package M4R20), an additional upgrade is needed
using the "SoftwareUpgrader.upg” file, as described in procedure 2-1. If the current version is 4.135 or higher,
start with procedure 2-2.
SOLUTION
Remarks
• After a software upgrade, a limited number of 37/40P5500 sets will be converted to S5500. This can be noticed
in the Service Menu, but not by the end user.
• In a limited number of 37P5500 sets, the Upgrade Menu will not be displayed properly (see picture below), but
nevertheless is fully operational. This symptom disappears after installing the latest M4Rxx version.
• In case of a board exchange, if the NVM model does not match with the panel size, the screen colour may be
abnormal. This will automatically be resolved after the board exchange process.
• The SW version is linked to the NVM version. Always make sure to use the latest version of both together. Do
not mix up different versions.
