Software Upgrade Procedure for NEX-09 Chassis [REVISION 2]
SYMPTOM
This Technical Bulletin describes the software upgrading procedure for the NEX-09 Chassis.
SOLUTION
Preparation
Take a USB2 device (formatted by FAT32).
Download the appropriate software file (NEX09_22/26/32inch_x.xxx.zip), attached to Technical Bulletin
09TV073.
Unzip it and copy the “upgrades” folder to the USB device.
Upgrade procedure
1. Switch on the LCD TV and enter the “Factory Service Menu” pressing [Info] => [5] => [Volume+] => [Power] on
the remote commander.
2. Select “Service General Menu” => “Software Upgrade”. Start by pressing the [OK] button ( .).
3. The set will restart in “Upgrade application” mode.
4. When the OSD message “No SW Found on media” appears, insert the USB device containing all necessary
software into the USB port of the TV.
5. The upgrade files are listed after reading the USB data.
6. One by one, select and upgrade the Standby Image, TV Application and NVM contents.

3 NVM image bootstrap_30_full_nvmwrite_Vxxxx.upg
7. Once the update of all items is done, switch off the set pulling out the AC plug for more than 2 minutes.
