IR Blaster Compatible Devices [REVISION 1] 1716
SYMPTOM
It may be impossible for the customer to use the TV’s remote commander to control their Set-Top Box (STB)
through the IR Blaster feature.
CAUSE
Compatibility problems.
SOLUTION
Check if the customer STB model name is included in the list of supported equipments by the IR Blaster micro.
• STB model name not included => STB is not compatible and will not function.
• STB model name included => Select the maker and insert the right code for that specific model name in the
settings of the IR Blaster. The device should work correctly.
IMPORTANT: Since several STB models from the same maker can be compatible, it is essential to select the right
code, as mentioned in the code lists as from page 3 of this document.
